RIVERVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS RECEIVE RECOGNITION The Riverview Kensett and Judsonia Elementary Schools were recently recognized at the Clinton Presidential Library by the National Center for Educational Achievement (NCEA) and the Arkansas Department of Education as two of the higher performing schools in Arkansas. The event celebrated High Performing Schools and discussions were held on the importance of college and career readiness for all Arkansas students. The day-long event featured Governor Mike Beebe and Commissioner of Education, Dr. Tom Kimbrell. Discussion panels of superintendents and principals of higher performing schools provided a unique opportunity to learn more about research and resources that can assist schools and districts in obtaining student-learning goals. These goals define the path to readiness for college and skilled careers. The award for Judsonia Elementary was presented to Judsonia Elementary Principal, Lance Perry. The award to Kensett Elementary was presented to the Riverview School District Assistant Superintendent, Ronnie Greer.
